Dr. Avneesh Kour

Dr. Avneesh Kour is a Specialist in Maternal and Fetal Medicine at Medcare Women & Children Hospital, Dubai. With nearly 20 years of experience as a gynaecologist and obstetrician, she has developed deep expertise in fetal medicine. She trained at Government Medical College, Jammu, India, and completed specialized fellowships in fetal medicine from Mediscan Systems Chennai and MGR University, India. She has worked across hospitals in India and the UAE, building a reputation for careful prenatal assessment.

Dr. Kour performs a wide range of pregnancy scans—from early pregnancy checks and first-trimester screening to detailed anatomy scans (morphology), fetal growth assessments, and specialized 3D and 4D imaging. She is particularly skilled in fetal echocardiography (heart imaging), detecting fetal abnormalities, and monitoring multiple pregnancies. When needed, she performs invasive prenatal tests including amniocentesis (fluid sampling), chorionic villus sampling (placental sampling), and cordocentesis (umbilical cord blood sampling). She also offers 3D and 4D gynaecology ultrasound.
