Dr. Ayman Al Harakeh

Dr. Ayman Al Harakeh is a consultant surgeon at Mediclinic City Hospital in Dubai with over 15 years of clinical experience. He is board-certified by the American Board of Surgery and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. His training includes specialty fellowships at Gundersen Health System and Henry Ford Health System in the United States, where he completed advanced training in transplantation, hepatobiliary oncology, and minimally invasive surgery.

Dr. Al Harakeh has performed more than 5,000 surgeries across a broad range of abdominal procedures. His main areas of expertise include liver transplantation and cancer surgery, pancreatic disease, bariatric (weight-loss) surgery, and foregut conditions affecting the stomach and esophagus. He uses laparoscopic and robotic techniques to minimize surgical trauma, and he manages complex oncologic cases including cancers of the liver, pancreas, esophagus, stomach, gallbladder, and colon.
