Prof. Abeer Ahmed Mohamed Sherif

Professor Dr. Abeer Sherif is a senior consultant in interventional pain management, regenerative medicine and anaesthesia, currently holding a full professorship at El-Menoufia University where she has worked for 8 years. She brings 25 years of experience in chronic pain management and specializes in minimally invasive approaches to pain relief. She holds the Fellowship of Interventional Pain Physician (FIPP) from the World Institute of Pain in Florida and is a Certified Interventional Pain Sonologist (CIPS) from Orlando.

Dr. Abeer specializes in treating neuropathic pain (nerve pain), cancer pain, musculoskeletal pain and headaches using ultrasound-guided techniques and minimally invasive spine procedures. She is expert in musculoskeletal ultrasound and peripheral nerve blocks, with qualifications in ultrasound-guided regional anaesthesia and interventional pain techniques from the University of Montpellier, France. She holds membership of the American Board of Regenerative Medicine and European diplomas in pain medicine and regional anaesthesia.

Throughout her career, Professor Sherif has been an instructor and speaker at international workshops and conferences across Europe, the USA, Canada and Asia, presenting research on pain management. She trains medical students and supervises postgraduate students in her specialty, combining clinical expertise with academic leadership.
