Dr. Nauman Chaudhry is a Consultant in Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine at HealthPoint, Abu Dhabi. He brings 25 years of clinical experience, having trained extensively in the UK and worked across Pakistan, the UK, and the UAE. He holds membership and fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP, FRCP) and is certified as a European Expert Somnologist by the European Sleep Research Society.
Dr. Chaudhry specializes in the diagnosis and management of respiratory and sleep-related conditions. He treats asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), bronchiectasis, chronic cough, and sleep disorders affecting breathing during sleep. He has particular expertise in non-invasive ventilation and long-term ventilation management in patients requiring tracheostomy support. Before joining HealthPoint in 2021, he spent 12 years as a substantive consultant at Manchester University Hospital Foundation Trust, a leading UK center for respiratory medicine.
Beyond clinical work, Dr. Chaudhry has substantial academic credentials, having served as a Senior Lecturer in Teaching and Research at the University of Manchester's Division of Infection, Immunity and Respiratory Medicine. He supervised medical trainees and foundation doctors, and has co-authored and presented numerous professional papers in his field.
