Dr. Hubert K.Penninckx

Dr. Hubert Penninckx is a specialist in endocrinology, diabetology and metabolic diseases with over 35 years of clinical experience. Belgium-board certified in internal medicine, endocrinology and diabetes, he has held endocrinologist positions at major hospitals and specialist centers across Belgium before joining American Hospital Dubai. He is a Fellow of the European Endocrine Society and an active member of the European Association for the Study of Diabetes.

Dr. Penninckx provides comprehensive diabetes care across all major types: Type 1, Type 1.5, Type 2, Type 3C, MODY (maturity-onset diabetes of the young), and gestational diabetes. He manages the full spectrum of metabolic and endocrine conditions in adults. Over his career, he has been a key speaker at approximately 1,500 medical meetings and congresses internationally, contributing to medical education and advancing clinical knowledge in his field.

He brings extensive expertise in complex diabetes management and metabolic disorders to his practice at American Hospital Dubai, combining decades of European specialist training with active engagement in international endocrinology societies.
