Dr. Bashar Zeidan

Dr. Bashar Zeidan is a UK-trained consultant oncoplastic breast surgeon with over 20 years of experience in breast care. He graduated in 2003 and completed his surgical training in Wessex, England, where he worked alongside renowned breast and plastic surgeons. Between 2013 and 2023, he served as Clinical Lecturer and Senior Lecturer in surgery at the University of Southampton, where he also earned a PhD for his research into breast cancer. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and holds specialist qualifications in oncoplastic breast surgery.

Dr. Zeidan has extensive experience managing all aspects of breast disease, from cancer surgery to reconstruction and cosmetic procedures. He specializes in advanced oncoplastic breast-conserving techniques—approaches that remove cancer while preserving natural breast appearance—as well as breast reconstruction using implants and fat transfer, and cosmetic procedures such as breast augmentation, reduction, and lift. His work combines surgical precision with attention to appearance and function.

Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Zeidan is deeply committed to medical education and surgical training. He has served on several academic bodies in the UK, including the University of Southampton and the Wessex Deanery, and was active on the British Association of Surgical Oncology's Academic Committee. He now brings this expertise to Mediclinic Dubai.
