Dr. Omniyat Mohammed Al-Hajeri

Dr. Omniyat Mohammed Al-Hajeri is a Consultant Endocrinologist at Burjeel Abu Dhabi with over 15 years of clinical experience in diabetes and endocrine diseases. She completed her medical degree (MB, BCH, BAO) from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 1999, where she graduated first in her class of 160 students, and obtained her Membership in the Royal College of Physicians (Ireland) in 2001. She holds a Master's degree in Health Care Management and Public Health from Johns Hopkins University's Bloomberg School of Public Health and is currently pursuing a PhD in Healthcare Policy and Management from the same institution.

Dr. Al-Hajeri began her career at Beaumont Hospital in Ireland before relocating to Abu Dhabi, where she has worked as an Endocrinologist and now serves as a Consultant. She has extensive expertise in managing diabetes, thyroid disorders, and metabolic conditions across adult populations. Beyond clinical practice, she has been actively involved in health policy, patient education, and public health initiatives, and has completed advanced leadership training through Johns Hopkins and Abu Dhabi Government programmes with input from Harvard, INSEAD, Oxford, and Cambridge.

She is a co-author of a surgical textbook used at the Royal College of Surgeons and maintains a strong research focus, having initiated multiple research projects in her field. Dr. Al-Hajeri is also committed to community health and CSR activities.
