Dr. Shireen Ismail is a UK-trained and certified family medicine consultant with over 23 years of experience. She completed her medical training across prestigious London hospitals including The Royal London, Whittington, Whipps Cross, and King George Hospital, where she gained broad exposure to paediatrics, obstetrics and gynaecology, general medicine, geriatrics, and emergency care. She has been working as a family medicine consultant and practice principal in the UK, bringing this depth of experience to her role at American Hospital Dubai.
Dr. Ismail has particular expertise in women's health—including cervical screening, contraception, menstrual disorders, pelvic pain, and menopause—as well as children's health and acute illnesses.
