Dr. Haris Naseem

Dr. Haris Naseem is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon who joined HealthPoint Abu Dhabi in 2022. He trained at the University of Manchester, where he earned his MBChB in 2007 and completed a Master of Research with Distinction in 2006. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS Trauma & Orthopaedics) with GMC Specialist Register entry and holds a Diploma in Sport and Exercise Medicine from the UK Faculty.

Dr. Naseem's main clinical focus is foot and ankle surgery, where he brings considerable expertise in both routine and complex cases. He is trained in advanced limb reconstruction techniques including limb lengthening and deformity correction, and is experienced in managing complex trauma and general orthopaedic trauma. He is recognised for his skill in minimally invasive orthopaedic surgical approaches, which help reduce recovery time and tissue damage for patients.

Before moving to Abu Dhabi, Dr. Naseem worked as a Consultant at Manchester Royal Infirmary, a major UK university teaching hospital, where he trained junior doctors and surgeons. His additional experience includes 12 years as a ringside physician for professional boxing and 11 years in mixed martial arts, bringing a practical understanding of sports injuries and performance medicine. He was the ringside doctor at the 2012 London Olympics boxing competitions.
