Dr. Anastasios G. Hantzakos

Dr. Anastasios Hantzakos is a Staff Physician and Program Director of Otolaryngology at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi's Integrated Surgical Institute. With 32 years of clinical experience, he trained at leading institutions including Emory University in Atlanta and specialist hospitals in Athens, the UK, and Belgium. He holds a medical degree from the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens (1991), a PhD in Medicine (2003), and a master's degree in Health Administration (2015).

Dr. Hantzakos is recognized for establishing the first comprehensive Voice Clinic in the region and performing the first office-based laser laryngology procedures in the UAE. He specializes in voice and swallowing disorders, laryngeal surgery using laser techniques, sinus and nasal procedures, rhinology, otology, airway reconstruction, and thyroid surgery. He has published extensively in international journals and textbooks, and serves as a reviewer for several leading otolaryngology journals.

He is an examiner and fellow of the European Board of Otorhinolaryngology and maintains active memberships in the European Laryngological Society, the Voice Foundation, and the European Society for Swallowing Disorders.
