Dr. Geeta Bhatnagar

Dr Geeta Bhatnagar is a consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist with over 20 years of experience in women's health. She trained at prestigious institutions in India, including Lady Hardinge Medical College in Delhi where she was a gold medalist, and completed her specialist qualification (MD in OBG) at UCMS & GTB Hospital. She is a member of the Royal College of Obstetrics & Gynaecology (MRCOG) from the UK and holds licenses from the DHA (UAE), Delhi Medical Council and GMC (UK). She now practises at Medcare Dubai after working at several leading hospitals and clinics across the UAE including Zulekha Hospital, Aster Medical Center and Emirates Hospital.

Dr Bhatnagar provides comprehensive obstetric care including management of high-risk pregnancies, normal and assisted vaginal delivery, caesarean sections and management of ectopic pregnancies. She is particularly experienced in gynaecological procedures such as hysteroscopy for polyp removal and fibroid surgery, and is an expert in cervical cancer screening and prevention through Pap smears, HPV testing and colposcopy. She also offers contraceptive counselling, fertility treatment for polycystic ovary disease, management of sexually transmitted infections, menopause support and lactation advice. As an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), she provides specialist feeding support to new mothers.

She takes a holistic approach to pregnancy care, supporting patients with dietary and exercise advice alongside medical treatment. Dr Bhatnagar is skilled at communicating with diverse patient populations including teenagers and older women from different cultural backgrounds, and is known for prioritising patient satisfaction and working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
