About Dr. Megahid Ali Ahmed Eldawlatky
Dr. Megahid Ali Ahmed Eldawlatky is Head of Intensive Care at Mediclinic Al Noor Hospital in Abu Dhabi, a position he has held since 2008. He is an Egyptian-trained physician with extensive experience in critical care medicine, having worked at King Abdelaziz Medical City in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia for 20 years before joining Mediclinic. His medical training began at Ain Shams University in Egypt.
Dr. Eldawlatky manages the full spectrum of life-threatening conditions in the intensive care unit. His expertise includes organ failure affecting the heart, lungs, brain, kidneys, and digestive system; major trauma; cancer-related emergencies; severe infections and septic shock; hormone-related crises; brain emergencies; complications of childbirth; and post-surgery complications. He also treats drug and alcohol poisoning, and manages advanced kidney disease requiring dialysis.
He holds advanced qualifications in anaesthesia and intensive care, including Saudi board certification in adult critical care. His long track record leading critical care teams makes him well-suited for families facing complex medical emergencies or patients requiring prolonged intensive monitoring.
Special interests: cardiac dysfunction in critical care, pulmonary failure management, neurological emergencies, renal and gastrointestinal complications in ICU.
