Dr. Khalil Nemou

Dr. Khalil Nemou is a Staff Physician in the Hospital Medicine Program at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi's Integrated Hospital Care Institute. He brings 19 years of clinical experience, having trained and worked across multiple healthcare systems in the United States before relocating to Abu Dhabi. His career includes roles as a hospitalist at Centura Health in Colorado, a staff physician at Halifax Health in Florida, and an associate clinical professor at Florida State University.

Dr. Nemou trained in internal medicine through two residency programs: first in Damascus, Syria at Mouassat Hospital, then at Western Reserve Health Education in Youngstown, Ohio. He completed his medical degree at Damascus University Faculty of Medicine in Syria. As a hospital medicine physician, he manages acute medical conditions including heart attacks, stroke, kidney injury, sepsis, respiratory failure, pneumonia, and diabetes in hospitalized patients.

Dr. Nemou is fluent in English, Arabic, and French, making him well-suited to serve Abu Dhabi's diverse population.
