Dr. Philippe Neyret

Dr. Philippe Neyret is a Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon at Reem Hospital with over 30 years of clinical experience. He trained at the University of Lyon, where he was appointed Professor in 1994 and later served as Head of the Department of Orthopedics and Surgery. He led academic training programs in France for 23 years and has held major leadership positions including President of the International Society of Knee Arthroscopy and Orthopedic Sports Medicine (2015–2017), President of EFORT (2019–2020), and President of the Anterior Cruciate Ligament Study Group (2014–2016).

Dr. Neyret has performed over 30,000 knee procedures throughout his career, focusing on both arthroscopic (keyhole) surgery and open techniques. His expertise spans knee arthroscopy, knee replacement (arthroplasty), anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction, meniscal repair, cartilage restoration, and patellofemoral surgery. He has published more than 500 peer-reviewed articles and co-authored chapters in surgical texts, making him one of the most prolific contributors to orthopedic literature.
