Dr. Mohamed Abou Koutah

Dr Mohamed Abou Koutah is a German-trained orthopaedic surgeon with 18 years of experience across Germany and the UAE. He completed his medical degree at the University of Cologne and earned his German Board certification in Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgery from the Medical Association of Westphalia-Lippe in Münster. He has served as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon in university teaching hospitals in Germany and held the position of Head of the Orthopaedic Department at Al Sharq Hospital.

Dr Abou Koutah specialises in sports medicine, arthroscopy (keyhole joint surgery), and complex joint reconstruction. He treats fractures, musculoskeletal conditions, trauma, and sports-related injuries in both athletes and active individuals. His clinical focus extends to advanced reconstructive procedures for complex joint problems. He completed a Fellowship in Special Orthopaedic Surgery with emphasis on joint reconstruction and arthroscopy, and is an authorised instructor for specialist orthopaedic training under the Medical Association of North Rhine in Düsseldorf.
