Dr. Hammam is an orthopedic surgeon with approximately 20 years of clinical experience. He trained at medical schools in China and worked in major military and public hospitals before establishing a private practice. In 2013, he relocated to Abu Dhabi and joined Mediclinic, where he continues to provide orthopedic care across a range of conditions.
He has substantial expertise in trauma and fracture management, joint surgery, and arthroscopic techniques. His particular strengths include shoulder and knee arthroscopy (having completed a fellowship in shoulder arthroscopy in Japan), hand and wrist surgery, foot disorders including bunion correction, and treatment of nerve compression syndromes in the arm.
