Dr. Mohammed Abdallah

Dr. Mohammed Abdallah is a Consultant Bariatric and General Surgeon at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City in Abu Dhabi, with over 13 years of clinical experience. He trained at the American University of Beirut Medical Center for general surgery residency and completed specialized fellowships in surgical oncology at King Hussein Cancer Centre in Jordan. He also holds a diploma in laparoscopic surgery from the University of Strasbourg in France, and is board-certified by the American College of Surgeons (FACS) and the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (FASMBS).

Dr. Abdallah specializes in weight-loss surgery, reflux surgery, and advanced endoscopic procedures using minimally invasive (keyhole) techniques. His surgical expertise spans bariatric and metabolic surgery, laparoscopic surgery, advanced endoscopy, surgical cancer treatment, and foregut conditions. He previously worked at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, where he expanded his experience in complex bariatric and endoscopic cases, and now serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine.

He is an active educator, overseeing the training of surgical residents and interns, and has contributed peer-reviewed articles to international journals on bariatric and minimally invasive surgery. Dr. Abdallah is fluent in English and Arabic and holds memberships in major professional organizations including SAGES (Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons), IFSO (International Federation for the Surgery of Obesity and Metabolic Disorder), and the Royal College of Surgeons.
