Dr. Mohamed Alasfoor

Dr. Mohamed Alasfoor is a board-certified emergency medicine specialist with 25 years of clinical experience across secondary and tertiary referral hospitals. He trained at Salmaniya Medical Complex in Bahrain and holds qualifications from Comenius University in Slovakia (1997), specialty training in emergency medicine from Bahrain (2006), and a European Master's in Disaster Medicine (2009). He has worked in both private and governmental institutions across Dubai, Sharjah, Doha, and Manama, and currently provides round-the-clock emergency care in Dubai.

Dr. Alasfoor's clinical expertise covers emergency airway management, acute pulmonary edema, procedural sedation for adults and children, trauma care, joint dislocation reduction, disaster medicine, paediatric emergencies, and point-of-care ultrasound. He is an academic leader who has served as Adjunct Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at the University of Sharjah and taught residents at the Arabian Gulf University and Hamad Medical Corporation.

He is a Fellow of the International Federation of Emergency Medicine, serves on the boards of the Asian Society for Emergency Medicine and the International Federation of Emergency Medicine, and is a founding member and past president of the Bahrain Emergentologist Association. Dr. Alasfoor is well suited for patients requiring emergency stabilisation, trauma care, or urgent critical interventions.
