Dr. Elhosseyn Guella

Dr. Elhosseyn Guella is a UK-trained Consultant Cardiologist at Burjeel Day Surgery Center in Abu Dhabi with 12 years of clinical experience. He earned his medical degree from the Arabian Gulf University in Bahrain in 2012 and completed specialist training in the United Kingdom, gaining membership of the Royal College of Physicians in 2015 and his Certificate of Completion of Training in Cardiology in 2021. He is a Certified Cardiac Device Specialist and a Silver Member of the European Society of Cardiology.

Dr. Guella's clinical expertise centres on managing irregular heart rhythms, advanced heart failure, and implantable heart devices such as pacemakers and defibrillators. He is skilled in implanting, adjusting, and troubleshooting these devices, as well as assessing the risk of sudden cardiac death. He has worked with cardiac transplantation teams and provides acute care in coronary care units and intensive care settings.
