Dr. Saher Arour

Dr. Saher Arour is a senior consultant vascular surgeon at Medcare Dubai with 23 years of experience and extensive qualifications from Germany. He previously led the vascular and endovascular surgery department at City Hospital Soest before relocating to the UAE. His training spans general surgery at Aleppo University and Damascus University, followed by specialist vascular surgery training in Germany at Braunschweig Hospital and Hannover Medical School.

Dr. Arour specializes in both minimally invasive (endovascular) and open surgical approaches to vascular disease. He is particularly experienced in treating aortic aneurysms and dissections using keyhole techniques (TEVAR for thoracic aortic repair and endovascular abdominal aortic repair), as well as complex open surgery for pelvic and abdominal aortic aneurysms. He also performs limb salvage procedures, artery unblocking (angioplasty and atherectomy), carotid artery treatment, and vein access procedures for dialysis patients. Additionally, he manages diabetic foot complications, varicose veins, and other venous conditions.
