Dr. Kareem Kamil Mohammed

Dr. Kareem Kamil Mohammed is a Consultant Nephrologist and Head of the Nephrology and Dialysis Center at Iranian Hospital in Dubai. With more than 24 years of clinical experience, he is board-certified in internal medicine by the Iraqi Board and holds an Iraqi Fellowship in Nephrology, along with fellowship recognition from the American Society of Nephrology (FASN). He began his career as a consultant nephrologist and internist at Al Kindi Teaching Hospital in Baghdad before relocating to the UAE, where he has worked at Iranian Hospital since 2001.

Dr. Mohammed treats a wide range of kidney conditions including renal failure, glomerulonephritis, nephrotic syndrome, hypertension, and kidney disease in pregnancy. He is highly skilled in hemodialysis management, creation of vascular access for dialysis, kidney biopsies, plasmapheresis (plasma exchange) for kidney and neurological disorders, and follow-up care of kidney transplant patients and donors. He has published research in national and international journals and is an active member of several professional societies including the Emirates Society of Nephrology, European Society of Nephrology, and Arab Society of Nephrology and Kidney Transplant.
