Dr. Ivyan Kambal

Dr. Ivyan Kambal is a consultant emergency medicine physician at Mediclinic with training across China and the UAE. She earned her medical degree from Zhejiang University in China and completed her Emergency Medicine residency at Rashid Hospital in Dubai, one of the region's leading trauma centres. She holds both Arab Board and Emirati Board (NIHS) certifications in Emergency Medicine.

Dr. Kambal manages a broad range of acute and time-critical conditions, including trauma, shock, cardiac and respiratory emergencies, and acute injuries. She performs emergency procedures such as airway management, central venous access placement, procedural sedation, wound repair, and reduction of dislocated joints and fractures. She also has expertise in point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) and ultrasound-guided procedures, as well as adult and paediatric resuscitation.

Her special interests are critical care and medical education. She is a good fit for patients needing emergency stabilisation and urgent procedural intervention.
