Dr. Pavithra Rajan

Dr. Pavithra Rajan is a Specialist Radiologist with over 19 years of clinical experience in diagnostic imaging. She trained at leading institutions in India—completing her MBBS from Mysore University and her MD in Radiodiagnosis from Annamalai University—before relocating to the UAE. She has served at NMC Healthcare in Sharjah for the past 12 years, where she continues to provide diagnostic imaging support across emergency and routine clinical settings.

Dr. Pavithra's expertise spans a broad range of imaging techniques including X-rays, ultrasound, mammography, and breast imaging, with additional focus on women's imaging (gynaecological and obstetrical), paediatric imaging, Doppler studies, endocrine imaging, and image-guided procedures. She is known for her patient-focused, compassionate approach and plays an active role in multidisciplinary case discussions and continuing medical education. She has also presented on clinical topics at national conferences and holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Hospital Management, reflecting her commitment to both clinical excellence and operational improvement.
