Dr. Sumreen Javed

Dr. Sumreen Javed is a general practitioner in paediatrics and neonatology at Aster Hospitals Dubai, with qualifications from Pakistan including an MBBS from Punjab Medical College (2012) and FCPS in Paediatrics from the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (2017). She has worked across hospital settings in Pakistan in paediatric roles, including as a trainee and medical officer.

Dr. Javed has clinical expertise in managing newborns and children, with particular skills in emergency procedures and critical care. Her areas of technical proficiency include physical examination, setting up intravenous lines, interpreting heart rhythm tracings (ECG), airway management via endotracheal intubation, lumbar puncture (spinal tap), and operating mechanical ventilators. She is also trained in managing infectious diseases in children and performing exchange transfusions for severe jaundice in newborns.
