Dr. Bejoy Peethambaran

Dr. Bejoy Peethambaran is a dermatologist with 26 years of clinical experience, currently practicing at NMC Specialty Hospital in Abu Dhabi. He trained in India, completing his medical degree at BLDEA's Medical College in Karnataka, then his dermatology specialization (MD in Dermatology & STD) at Kasturba Medical College, Manipal. He has worked in both Oman's Ministry of Health for 6 years and at NMC in Abu Dhabi since 2004, where he also leads the Infection Control department.

Dr. Bejoy treats a wide range of skin conditions—from acne and eczema to fungal infections and sexually transmitted diseases—in both outpatient and inpatient settings. He is particularly skilled in photodermatology (light-based skin treatments) and contact dermatitis (allergic skin reactions). His procedural expertise includes laser surgery, cryotherapy (freezing), electrosurgery, biopsies, and chemical peels.
