Dr. Shajeer Noorudeen

Dr. Shajeer Noorudeen is a neonatologist with six years of clinical experience in neonatal intensive care. He completed his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in 2013, followed by pediatrics residency training at the University of Texas Medical Branch–Galveston (2016), and specialized neonatal-perinatal fellowship training at Children's Hospital of Richmond at Virginia Commonwealth University (2019). He now practises at Mediclinic, where he manages high-acuity cases in the neonatal intensive care unit.

Dr. Noorudeen specializes in caring for premature and low-birth-weight newborns requiring complex respiratory support, including both non-invasive and invasive ventilation techniques. He manages neonatal infections, coordinates feeding support, and performs specialized NICU procedures. His clinical interests extend to family-centered care approaches that involve parents in their infant's treatment plan.
