Dr. Soumya Anto

Ms. Soumya Anto is a physiotherapist with seven years of clinical experience, currently practising at Medcare Medical Centre in City Center Mirdif, Dubai. She holds a Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree from Mahatma Gandhi University and certification in Orthopaedic Manual Therapy. Before moving to Dubai, she worked at Holy Family Hospital in Kerala, India, where she built expertise in both musculoskeletal and neurological rehabilitation.

Soumya specializes in helping patients recover after joint replacement surgery (hip and knee), manage spine and disc problems, and regain function following stroke or nerve injuries. She uses hands-on techniques including trigger point therapy and myofascial release to reduce pain and improve mobility. She treats conditions ranging from cervical and lower back pain to post-operative stiffness and entrapment neuropathies (pinched nerves).

She is a member of the Indian Association of Physiotherapy and the Kerala Association of Physiotherapists Co-Ordination, reflecting her commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered care. She is fluent in English and Malayalam.
