Dr. Sushum Sharma

Dr. Sushum Sharma is a consultant internal medicine physician with four decades of clinical experience spanning India, the UK, and the UAE. He completed his MBBS in 1978 and MD in Internal Medicine in 1982 from King George's Medical University in India, followed by Commonwealth Fellowship Training at the University of Birmingham in the United Kingdom. He holds fellowships from both the Royal College of Physicians Edinburgh (FRCP-Edin) and the American College of Physicians (FACP), reflecting his standing in international medicine.

Dr. Sharma spent 25 years at Central Hospital Railways, a high-volume government facility in New Delhi, before becoming Head of Internal Medicine at Max Hospital, one of North India's largest corporate chains, in 2007. He relocated to the Gulf region in 2014 and now practices at Saudi German Hospital. His clinical focus spans endocrine disorders (diabetes, thyroid diseases, pituitary conditions, high cholesterol), infectious diseases, and preventive care, including vaccinations and health screening.
