Dr. Ahmad Alkhatib

Dr. Ahmad Alkhatib is a Consultant in Family Medicine at Al Zahra Hospital in Dubai, with over 30 years of clinical experience. He holds dual board certifications in Family Medicine from both the Syrian and Jordanian Medical Boards, alongside certifications in Infection Control and Hospital Management. He graduated from Aleppo University in 1995 and completed his Family Medicine fellowship between 1996 and 2000.

Dr. Alkhatib provides comprehensive care for both acute and chronic conditions, with particular expertise in managing high blood pressure, diabetes, thyroid disorders, and mental health concerns. He takes a holistic approach to treatment, addressing all of a patient's physical and psychological needs in a coordinated way. His additional qualifications span preventive medicine, endocrinology, and infection control, reflecting a broad commitment to patient wellness and clinical safety.

He is an active educator, serving as a trainer in family medicine residency programs and contributing to the development of future physicians. Fluent in English and Arabic, Dr. Alkhatib is a member of the Syrian Medical Council, Jordanian Medical Council, Saudi Council for Health Specialties, and the World Organization of Family Doctors (WONCA).
