Dr. Mais Ibrahim

Dr. Mais Ibrahim is a Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Medcare Hospital-Sharjah, with more than a decade of clinical experience providing comprehensive women's healthcare. She studied medicine at Tishreen University in Syria, then completed her postgraduate training with a Master's Degree in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from Damascus University. She is certified by the Arab Board in her specialty and began her career in Syria before relocating to the UAE, where she worked as a consultant at Oriana Hospital Daycare Surgery and NMC Royal Hospital in Sharjah before joining Medcare.

Dr. Ibrahim manages the full range of obstetric and gynaecological care, from routine antenatal and postnatal care through complex high-risk pregnancies. She is experienced in normal vaginal delivery, assisted delivery, and caesarean sections, as well as early pregnancy assessment and miscarriage management. She also performs pelvic ultrasound imaging, provides family planning and contraception counselling, and manages menstrual disorders, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), and cervical cancer screening.

She is known for strong diagnostic skills and patient-centred clinical decision-making, working collaboratively within multidisciplinary hospital teams to deliver high standards of care. She speaks both Arabic and English.
