Dr. Adnan Ghazi Alkhalefeh

Dr Adnan Ghazi Alkhalefeh is a consultant cardiologist with 12 years of clinical experience in cardiovascular medicine. He grew up in Abu Dhabi before pursuing advanced training in Egypt at leading teaching hospitals including Kasr Alainy (Cairo University), Benha University Hospital, and Ahmed Maher Teaching Hospital, where he gained extensive experience across coronary care, intensive care, ward management, outpatient clinics, and emergency departments. Since 2019, he has been practising at NMC Healthcare in Abu Dhabi, where he specializes in the evaluation and management of cardiovascular diseases.

Dr Alkhalefeh manages a wide range of heart conditions including heart failure, irregular heartbeats (arrhythmias), valve disease, coronary heart disease, peripheral vascular disease, pericardial disease (inflammation around the heart), and adult congenital heart conditions. He also focuses on prevention and management of high blood pressure and high cholesterol. He performs and interprets echocardiography (heart ultrasound), ECGs, Holter monitoring (24-hour heart rhythm tracking), stress testing, and blood pressure monitoring.
