Dr. Begad Mohamed Samy A. Abbas

Dr. Begad Mohamed Samy A. Abbas is Head of the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Department at Mediclinic Airport Road Hospital in Abu Dhabi, where he also practises at Mediclinic Aspetar. He trained in rehabilitation medicine and brings extensive experience from his previous roles teaching and practising at Ain Shams University in Cairo, alongside clinical work with sporting teams as a sports injuries specialist.

Dr. Abbas specializes in managing musculoskeletal pain and sports-related injuries using ultrasound-guided techniques. His core skills include ultrasound-guided injections for joint pain and soft-tissue injuries, management of muscle stiffness using Botox injections, and helping patients recover after orthopaedic surgery.
