Dr. Kusuma Narayana

Dr. Kusuma is a UK-trained Consultant Dermatologist practising at Mediclinic Dubai, with extensive experience treating both children and adults for a wide range of skin, hair and nail conditions. She trained at Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences in India and completed specialist dermatology training through the Royal College of Physicians in the UK, where she gained a Diploma in Laser and Injectables.

She specialises in inflammatory skin conditions such as psoriasis, eczema, acne, rosacea, urticaria, vitiligo and hidradenitis suppurativa. She has particular expertise in skin cancer screening and management, blistering conditions like bullous pemphigoid and pemphigus, and cutaneous lymphoma. As a regional lead for biologic therapies, she has successfully managed patients with severe inflammatory skin disease using advanced systemic treatments. She performs skin biopsies, excisions, cryotherapy and removal of both benign and malignant lesions. Her laser expertise covers resurfacing, sunspot and vascular treatments, and she offers aesthetic services including Botulinum toxin, PRP (platelet-rich plasma), mesotherapy and micro-needling.

Dr. Kusuma maintains a keen academic interest, actively participating in research, clinical trials and peer-reviewed publishing. She is involved in teaching and mentoring dermatologists. She is a member of the British Association of Dermatology and the American Academy of Dermatology.
