Dr. Mohamed Tammam

Dr. Mohamed Tammam is an Egyptian neurosurgeon with 12 years of clinical experience, currently practicing at Medeor Hospital in Abu Dhabi. He completed his medical degree and specialist training at Assiut University in Egypt, followed by a Skull Base and Spine Fellowship in the UK. His training gives him a strong foundation in both complex spinal conditions and skull base surgery.

Dr. Tammam specializes in advanced spinal care, including endoscopic and microscopic surgery for lumbar disc prolapse, minimally invasive spinal fusion, and treatment of spinal fractures and cord injuries. He also performs microscopic and endoscopic brain tumor removal, manages critical cases with raised intracranial pressure and hydrocephalus using shunt placement, and treats pediatric neurosurgical conditions including brain tumors and congenital malformations.

He is a lecturer and consultant at Assiut University Hospital and holds membership in the Egyptian Society of Neurological Surgeons. His combination of spinal expertise and pediatric neurosurgical training makes him well-suited for patients needing specialized brain or spine surgery.
