Dr. Baher Ashour

Dr. Baher Ashour is a Consultant Otolaryngologist with over 25 years of clinical, surgical, and academic experience. He previously served as Head of the ENT Department and Acting Head of Surgical Services at Sheikh Sultan Bin Zayed Hospital in the UAE, and held the position of Assistant Professor at Cairo University Faculty of Medicine. His training includes a Master's degree with distinction in Audiology from University College London, where he studied under a prestigious Chevening Scholarship from the British Government, and specialized training at the Royal National Throat, Nose and Ear Hospital in London.

Dr. Ashour's clinical expertise focuses on hearing and balance disorders, including dizziness, tinnitus, Eustachian tube dysfunction, and noise-induced hearing loss. He is highly skilled in endoscopic (minimally invasive) ear and nasal surgery techniques, which reduce postoperative discomfort and speed recovery. His experience at Zayed Military Hospital also gave him valuable knowledge in diving and aviation medicine, enabling him to manage complex ear conditions. He performs audiological assessments and hearing aid fitting, and provides care for both children and adults.

Dr. Ashour is an active member of the International Working Group for Endoscopic Ear Surgery and frequently speaks at international conferences. He has instructed ear surgery workshops across the UAE, Germany, and Egypt, demonstrating his commitment to advancing ENT care and training the next generation of surgeons.
