About Dr. Eman Abdelwahed
Dr. Eman Abdelwahed is a Specialist in Radiology at Medcare Medical Centre in Dubai. She completed her medical degree (MBBCh) from Cairo University in Egypt and holds additional qualifications from the General Medical Council in the UK. She is board-certified in Radiology and Medical Imaging by the Arab Board of Health Specialization and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR) in the UK.
Dr. Abdelwahed is proficient across a full range of imaging modalities including X-ray, MRI, CT scans, ultrasound, mammography and hysterosalpingography (HSG). She has particular expertise in women's imaging, including gynecological imaging, obstetric scans, fetal anomaly screening, breast imaging and mammography. With 7 years of experience, she interprets complex imaging cases and performs image-guided procedures, diagnosing conditions ranging from fractures and joint problems to tumors, strokes, lung infections, heart and vascular disease, and reproductive system disorders.
Dr. Abdelwahed began her career as a Radiology Registrar at Rashid Hospital under the Dubai Health Authority, then worked at specialist imaging centres including Resonance Imaging and Diagnostic Centre before joining Medcare.
