Dr. Ady Assaf

Dr. Ady Assaf is a Staff Physician in the Infectious Disease Department at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi's Integrated Hospital Care Institute. He trained extensively in France, completing his medical degree with honour from the University of Amiens, followed by residency in Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease, and a fellowship in Infectious Disease at the Teaching University Hospital of Lille. Before joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, he served as a consultant in the Infectious Disease Department at Lille, where he built specialized expertise over several years.

Dr. Assaf specializes in treating complex infections in immunocompromised patients, with particular focus on those who have undergone solid organ or stem cell transplantation. He manages a wide range of challenging infectious conditions including fungal infections, multidrug-resistant bacterial infections, bone marrow transplant–related infections, infections of vascular grafts and neurosurgical sites, mycobacterial infections, and travel-related diseases. He is also experienced in vaccination strategies for immunocompromised hosts and management of hospital-acquired infections like *Clostridium difficile*.

Dr. Assaf is a member of the French infectious disease society and holds French board certification in both Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease. He is well suited for patients with complex infections related to organ or stem cell transplants, immunosuppression, or those requiring specialized travel medicine and vaccination advice.
