Dr. Zsuzsanna Ricz

Dr. Zsuzsanna Ricz is a specialist paediatrician with 25 years of clinical experience, currently practising at Medcare Medical Centre in Palm Jumeirah, Dubai. She trained extensively in Hungary, completing her residency at Heim Pal Children's Hospital and working in tertiary centres including Semmelweis Medical University's neonatal and paediatric surgery unit and the Pest County Pulmonology Institute. Before relocating to Dubai, she held a senior role as Head of Paediatrics and Neonatal Care at Telki Private Hospital in Budapest.

Dr. Ricz provides comprehensive paediatric care from newborn through adolescence, with particular expertise in lung and airway conditions. She performs bronchoscopy procedures and treats childhood asthma, pneumonia, cystic fibrosis and airway narrowing. She also manages paediatric trauma and emergencies, rare diseases, birth defects, stomach and intestinal disorders, kidney and liver problems, metabolic conditions, ear and sinus infections, and urinary tract infections. Her training in anaesthesia and intensive care informs her approach to medically complex children.

She has a special interest in allergic diseases including allergic rhinitis, conjunctivitis, food and inhalant allergies, and skin conditions like eczema. Dr. Ricz also provides newborn care, infant feeding advice, developmental assessment and vaccinations from 6 weeks of age. She is a member of the Hungarian Association of Paediatricians.
