Dr. Saeed Rafii

Dr. Saeed Rafii is a UK-trained and board-certified consultant medical oncologist with over 20 years of experience in medicine and cancer care. He completed his medical degree and internal medicine training before undertaking specialist oncology training at two leading UK cancer hospitals: Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham and the Royal Marsden Hospital in London. He then pursued further clinical fellowship in early-phase cancer trials at the Royal Marsden and obtained his Certificate of Completion of Training from the UK General Medical Council. Dr. Rafii subsequently served as associate professor and consultant medical oncologist at the University of Manchester and the Christie Hospital, one of Europe's largest cancer centres, where he helped establish and expand the Experimental Cancer Medicine Centre.

Dr. Rafii has extensive expertise across a wide range of solid cancers, treating patients with targeted therapies, immunotherapies, chemotherapies, hormonal therapies, and combination approaches. He is particularly skilled in breast, lung, bowel, and gynaecological cancers, and specializes in cancer immunotherapy and precision medicine. He has led or contributed to over 100 early and late-phase clinical trials as chief, principal, or co-investigator, and holds a PhD in molecular cancer genetics with postdoctoral research experience in the field.

He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (elected 2018), member of the European Society of Medical Oncology and the American Association for Clinical Oncology, and is known for his clear communication with patients and families. He is frequently consulted for second opinions on complex or difficult-to-treat cancers and has published extensively in peer-reviewed medical journals.
