Dr. Martin Peter Moody

Dr Martin Moody is a UK-certified Consultant Urological Surgeon who trained at the Middlesex and University College Hospital Medical School, followed by St Bartholomew's Hospital London and specialist urological training in the South West of England. He spent 17 years as a Consultant Urological Surgeon at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, where he led the cancer service and the urology department for 15 years. He has also served in the UK Military Reserves as the Defence Consultant Adviser for Urology to the Surgeon General.

Dr Moody brings extensive experience in both routine and emergency urological conditions. He has particular expertise in prostate problems — both surgical relief of urinary blockage and transperineal biopsies to diagnose prostate cancer. He is also experienced in keyhole and open kidney removal, and in managing urological cancers more broadly. His practice covers endoscopic (minimally invasive) procedures, urinary tract stones, overactive bladder, urinary infections, interstitial cystitis (bladder pain), and evaluation of blood in urine.
