Dr. Roshan Mathews Rajan

Dr. Roshan Mathews Rajan is a consultant orthopaedic surgeon with 15 years of experience in orthopaedics. He completed his MBBS in 2003 and Master of Surgery in 2006 from Russia, where he also trained in advanced fracture fixation techniques through the Association for Osteosynthesis (AO) programme in Switzerland. Before joining NMC Healthcare in Sharjah, Dr. Rajan worked as a consultant orthopaedic surgeon at several hospitals in Kerala, India, including San Jose Hospital and St Joseph's Hospital.

Dr. Rajan has extensive expertise across a broad range of orthopaedic conditions. He specializes in hip and knee replacement and reconstruction, shoulder and elbow replacement, foot and ankle surgery, and trauma care. His training in AO fracture fixation techniques gives him particular strength in managing complex fracture cases. He is fluent in six languages — Arabic, English, Hindi, Malayalam, Russian, and Urdu — which helps him communicate effectively with diverse patient populations.
