Dr. Sakina Koubeh

Dr Sakina Koubeh is a UK-trained consultant endocrinologist with over a decade of experience in specialist diabetes and endocrinology services. She trained through the UK's National Health Service and holds consultant-level credentials (CCT) in both diabetes and endocrinology. She has worked across leading UK institutions including North Manchester General Hospital, Christie's Hospital, and the University Hospital of South Manchester, and has spent the past 4 years at the Imperial College Diabetes Centre London in Al Ain before joining King's College Hospital London in Dubai.

Dr Koubeh treats the full spectrum of diabetes and endocrine conditions, with particular expertise in type 2 diabetes and its complications, weight management, thyroid disease, and bone metabolism. She manages type 1 diabetes including insulin pump therapy, hyperthyroidism and hypothyroidism, calcium and parathyroid disorders, polycystic ovarian syndrome, osteoporosis, and endocrine disorders during pregnancy. She also addresses related metabolic conditions such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and vitamin D deficiency.

She is a member of the Royal College of Physicians UK, the British Endocrine Society, and Diabetes UK, reflecting her commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development.
