Dr. Mohamad Al Hayek

Dr. Mohamad Al Hayek is an emergency medicine specialist at Mediclinic Welcare Hospital in Dubai with over 5 years of clinical experience. He holds an MD and a Diploma of Specialized Studies in Emergency Medicine, earned through rigorous training across three countries. His medical education began with an emergency medicine residency at USEK University in Lebanon and ULB University in Belgium, followed by a year of advanced training at Erasmus Hospital in Brussels focused on evidence-based diagnosis and treatment. He then completed a year of intensive care training at the Medical Center of Rambouillet in Paris, sharpening his skills in managing critically ill patients.

Dr. Al Hayek's clinical expertise spans medical and surgical emergencies, trauma care, intensive care management, cardiac emergencies, neurological conditions, and respiratory emergencies. He has managed cardiac arrests, shock, respiratory distress and failure, seizures, major polytrauma, acute coronary syndromes, acute strokes, and acute limb ischemia. Before joining Mediclinic, he worked for over three years at El-Kheir Hospital in Lebanon and served as head of the emergency room committee at Makassed General Hospital in Beirut, where he was the first emergency physician to join the academic institution and took on teaching responsibilities for internal medicine and surgery residents.

Dr. Al Hayek is fluent in English, Arabic, and French and maintains current certifications in BLS, ACLS, ATLS, and PALS. He is committed to evidence-based medicine and stays current with medical developments to provide high-quality care in critical situations.
