Dr. Rajneesh A. R.

Dr. Rajneesh A. R. is a consultant gastroenterologist at NMC Healthcare Dubai with over a decade of specialized experience in gastrointestinal and liver disorders. He trained in India, earning his MD in Internal Medicine from PGIMER Chandigarh and his DM (specialty qualification) in Gastroenterology from Government Medical College Calicut. For the past 6 years, he was closely involved with Aster MIMS hospital in Calicut, where he built expertise in both diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy.

Dr. Rajneesh performs a wide range of advanced procedures to treat digestive and liver conditions. He has completed over 10,000 upper endoscopies and more than 2,000 therapeutic procedures including variceal ligation (treating bleeding varices in the food pipe), polypectomy (polyp removal), stricture dilatation (widening narrowed passages), and PEG tube insertion. He has also performed more than 300 ERCPs—specialized procedures to treat bile duct stones and pancreatic conditions—and is trained in endoscopic ultrasound with guided needle biopsy. His experience extends to pre- and post-liver transplant care for around 85 patients over 6 years.
