Dr. Basil Al Sharef

Dr. Basil Al Sharef is a German- and Swiss-board-certified Senior Consultant Spine Surgeon with over 20 years of international experience in Germany, Switzerland, and the UAE. He leads the Spine Surgery Department at Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Medical Group in Dubai and graduated from the University of Kiel, Germany in 2005. Before moving to the UAE in 2019, he worked at prestigious spine centers across Germany and Switzerland, building deep expertise in complex spinal cases.

Dr. Al Sharef treats spinal conditions in both adults and children across all regions of the spine. He specializes in corrective surgeries for curved spines (scoliosis, kyphosis), slipped vertebrae (spondylolisthesis), spinal fractures and trauma, herniated discs, spinal tumors, and degenerative disc disease.
