Dr. Ahmed Yassin Bahgat

Dr. Ahmed Yassin Bahgat is a Consultant ENT and Sleep Surgeon with extensive international training across Italy, France, and the USA. He holds the position of Assistant Professor of Otorhinolaryngology at Alexandria University in Egypt and practices in Dubai. He is certified by the International Board for Sleep-Disordered Breathing Surgery and the European Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, and serves as a Board Member-at-Large of the International Surgical Sleep Society.

Dr. Bahgat specializes in advanced surgical treatment of snoring and obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), the condition where breathing stops repeatedly during sleep. His expertise encompasses hypoglossal nerve stimulation surgery for severe sleep apnea, barbed pharyngoplasty, tongue base reduction, coblation (radiofrequency ablation), laser therapy, and transoral robotic surgery (TORS) for throat lesions. He also performs minimally invasive nasal procedures including turbinate reduction without packing, cryotherapy for allergic rhinitis, and Eustachian tube balloon dilation. Additionally, he interprets sleep studies and conducts drug-induced sleep endoscopy (DISE) to diagnose airway collapse patterns.
