Dr. Aju Abraham John

Dr. Aju Abraham John is a consultant neurologist with 5.5 years of clinical experience across India, Oman, and the UAE. He trained at leading institutions in India, completing his DM (Doctor of Medicine) in Neurology from M.S. Ramaiah Medical College, Bangalore in 2016, after obtaining his MD in Internal Medicine from J.S.S. Medical College, Mysore in 2009. He previously worked as a consultant neurologist at Manipal Hospital (Columbia Asia) in Bangalore before moving to the Middle East, where he has practised in private hospitals in Oman and Abu Dhabi before joining NMC Specialty Hospital in Al Ain.

Dr. John manages a broad range of neurological conditions including migraine and headaches, neck and back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome and other peripheral nerve disorders, stroke, epilepsy, movement disorders such as Parkinsonism, dementia, and neuromuscular diseases. He has particular expertise in neurophysiology testing, EEG (electroencephalography), and ENMG (nerve conduction studies and electromyography), which help diagnose nerve and muscle disorders. He maintains his professional knowledge through regular attendance at national and international conferences.

He is a member of the Indian Medical Association, Indian Academy of Neurology, and Oman Neurology Society, and holds medical licenses in India, Oman, and the UAE. With over 18 peer-reviewed publications and presentations in neurology journals, he combines clinical expertise with engagement in medical research.
