Dr. Francis Kynaston-Pearson

Dr. Francis Kynaston-Pearson qualified as a medical doctor in 2008 with a first-class degree in Physiology and Pharmacology. He trained across multiple UK hospitals, including the John Radcliffe and Queen Elizabeth, and spent time working in emergency medicine in Brisbane, Australia. He completed specialist training in both Rheumatology and General Internal Medicine, and was appointed Chief Registrar at Nottingham University Hospital Trust, where he worked on quality improvement projects with the Royal College of Physicians.

Dr. Kynaston-Pearson has deep expertise in inflammatory arthritis conditions, including rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, and axial spondyloarthritis. He is particularly skilled in musculoskeletal ultrasound and joint injection techniques, and has specialised in seronegative arthritis during his consultant work at University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Trust. He has led the development of multidisciplinary clinics for axial spondyloarthritis and worked on shared clinics with dermatology and gastroenterology for complex cases.

Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Kynaston-Pearson has a strong commitment to medical education and patient care. He completed a Masters in Medical Education with distinction and actively mentors trainee doctors and teaches medical students.
