Dr. Nihal Bashir

Dr. Nihal Bashir is a Specialist Nephrologist at SEHA Kidney Care in Al Ain, with training in nephrology, organ transplantation, internal medicine, and endocrinology. She qualified with an MBBS from the University of Khartoum in 2010 and has since completed specialist qualifications including an MD in Nephrology and an MD in Organ Transplantation from the University of Liverpool, both in 2021. She also holds an MRCP in General Medicine from the Royal College of Physicians, London.

Dr. Bashir manages the full spectrum of kidney disease, including chronic kidney disease, glomerulonephritis (inflammation of the filtering units), and kidney transplantation. She provides both haemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis—two different ways of cleaning the blood when kidneys cannot—and offers transplant nephrology services.
