Dr. Shazia Nazir is a Staff Physician in the Hospital Medicine Department at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi's Integrated Hospital Care Institute. She trained in internal medicine and hospitalist care in the United States, completing her medical degree at King Edward Medical University in Lahore, Pakistan, followed by internship and residency at Easton Hospital in Philadelphia (affiliated with Drexel University). She then practiced as a hospitalist for nearly six years at Wellspan York Hospital in Pennsylvania before joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi.
Dr. Nazir specializes in the care of acutely ill hospitalized patients, managing conditions including heart attacks, irregular heartbeats, infections, high blood pressure, liver disease, stroke, diabetes, and heart failure.
